The final round of the 2010 Allen Berg Racing Schools Western Canadian Rok Cup Championship was held in Quesnel BC at Cariboo Raceway Park August 13-15th.

In the Junior Rok category, Marcus Brodie had a sizable points lead going into the event. Brodie however did not hold back one bit and did exactly what he needed to do by winning all three races aboard his Vemme Kart and clinching the 2010 Rok Canada Junior Championship. For his efforts Brodie was awarded a position on Team Canada to represent his country at the Rok Cup World Final in Lonato, Italy this coming October. Second place for the weekend, as well as in the championship, went to CRG West’s Kyoichi Tsutsui. Tsutsui was Brodie’s closest competitor all season and pushed him every step of the way. Tsutsui may not have left Quesnel with the Rok Cup title, but he did post a new track record and received a trophy for the Fastest Lap of the weekend. Third place for the weekend went to Regina, SK’s Garret Britton, with fourth going to Tyler Beck of Surrey, BC. Britton and Beck had a close battle throughout the entire series, which led to a tie in the overall points standings for third place in the Canadian Junior Rok Cup series. Third place in the overall championship was awarded to Beck due to his qualifying time being faster than Britton’s.

The ROK GP is a high performance TAG engine that sits betweent he Super Rok and KF2 package. It has been monitored closely by the Vortex technicians and has proven to be very reliable with great results making it a fantastic racing package.
