ROK CUP Canada 2013 Race 1 PDF Print E-mail

The first event of the Canadian ROK CUP WCKC championship took place on the 7th April at the  Greg Moore Raceway in Chilliwack, BC.

The event was hosted by the West Coast Kart Club and it went off very well under rain conditions. Despite the weather, the entries were very good and signals a very good year for the championship.

Qualifying was done in the rain, as were all the heats. Chris Eagles in his Formula K Kart, took pole position by about .5 second lead over Jordan Kettner, with Bob Wakeling following in third spot. Chris showed consistency and looked good for the races to come.

While the world of karting is trying to find its identity with many clinging to single make programs while others try running inter-mixed engine brands it would seem all have their fair share of flaws. Whether it be cost, reliabiltiy, or compatibility with one another. The ROK Program has done everything it can to offer a complete range of products that fit the bill and offer you world class racing products at a reasonable price without being forced to spend outrageous amounts of money to be competitive.

ROK CUP WORLD FINALS 2013 PDF Print E-mail

It has been announced that the ROK Cup World Finals will once again be held in Lonato, Italy at the South Garda Karting circuit. The race will take place from October 16-19 with the finals being run on Saturday as was introduced at the 2012 finals. This year the class structure will se the addition of the ROK SHIFTER category which will be run as a national level race. The usual categories including the Mini (National Class), ROK JR, ROK Senior and Super ROK will be run as they have since the beginning of the series 11 years ago.

ROK Cup Canada has it's eyes set on a strong 2013 in BC after 2012 witnessed strong growth in the the newly added ROK GP category. The resurgent series added a new flavor in the form of a 32hp plus power plant which was just what was needed to create an exciting formula at Greg Moore raceway. This formula is attracting more racers for this upcoming season and there is even a buzz from past ROK Cup veterans who are looking to make a comeback to chase the opportunity to conquer another ride to the World Finals.

ROK CUP Canada Adds GP Class PDF Print E-mail

With 2012 around the corner the ROK CUP Canada is pleased to be one of the first major Canadian series to announce its plans for a new exciting 2012 program. This years biggest change will be the addition of the ROK GP Category which will run in addition to the existing ROK SR and Junior classes.
